Our core team consists of four people: Mariska, Hanke, Robert and Ruud.
We too know our limitations and where we are not expert (enough), we engage one of our permanent cooperation partners in consultation with our client.
MARISKA VAN ADRICHEM
I am a mother and grandmother, a golden oldie for good reason. My life has always revolved around man in motion, man in development. First the sporting challenges, as a sports teacher. Later, the more complex challenges as a manager in all kinds of organisations with many different target groups and manager of various care providers. From the physically disabled to severely behaviourally disturbed, mildly mentally disabled to forensic psychiatry. Now I like to put my knowledge and life and work experience at the service of people who are again looking for a suitable place in the labour market or want to increase their effectiveness. Among other things, in the UWV work-fit-making processes and coaching (starting) managers. I am an athletic go-getter and am always transparent in my communication. What you see is what you get. After a conversation with me, you go home with a good feeling and a number of questions in your head. Good colleagues have sometimes called me a fearless Mother Theresa. So if you are looking for an empathetic person to help you on your way to (more) ownership in life, then you should come to me. You will see me at my best when you meet me on a long-distance walk, preferably in the sun and by the sea, or in a kitchen where creative cooking is needed for a larger group of people. A cake or a bonbon in due course provide the guilty pleasures.
RUUD OP DEN KAMP
I like to help people become more effective. Inspiring them to (start) being themselves. Coaching new skills. I connect well with quick thinkers, driven, stubborn, creative and sensitive people. I respect everything and everyone, until proven otherwise. People usually know and feel what they want and can do, but occasionally need a sounding board to hone this. Sparring so to speak. I like to look at things in a positively critical way so that new possibilities arise. I ask you: Where do you have influence? I like to bring people together. I believe in the power of the other person, but am stubborn enough to want to teach you things. I enjoy it when your penny drops and you achieve your goal. My secret? Enthusiasm, counter-thinking and networking. My career: VWO, HBO social work, Nima A + B, management, coaching and career advice courses. In recent years, I have immersed myself in positive psychology, Semco, work happiness and high sensitivity. After five years in logistics and indoor sales, I have worked in advisory and management positions in recruitment & selection, (career) coaching and outplacement of highly educated people since 1990. In 2003, I co-founded Styx and was its full owner from 2011.
Private: Born 1962 into Philips import family in Geldrop. Youngest of four children. Happy for 35 years with Marieke and proud father of Roos (1995) and Tess (1998). Crazy about Quadrupel and Pinot Gris. I love cycling, hiking (preferably in the mountains), Art Noveau, reading, arthouse films and discovering new regions. I have a keen interest in WWI and II and sustainability. My greatest hobby is acting. I am world-famous in Best, through roles in King Lear, Festen and One flew over the cuckoo's nest, among others.
Our cooperation partners are:
Hanke van der Woude became involved in Styx through Mariska's network. Hanke adds a lot of experience in career and job coaching of young people and ‘neurodivergent’ people.
Robert Westerterp has been affiliated since 2023. We have known each other since 2019, and as we increasingly receive requests for (career) coaching from IT and other tech workers, it is effective that they have an interlocutor who understands them.
Jan Frank Vos is a former colleague from the recruitment & selection era and now specialises in (complex) case management in reintegration second track.
Jasmin Vogeley is a psychologist who can help people bring their head and heart together. We share expertise and work together for UWV.
We have been working with Tjeu Stienen since 2008, mainly for clients (individuals and teams) who want more work energy and engagement, making them more successful and increasing their sustainable employability.
Joke Lenaerts and Styx have known each other since 2005. We share office space on Fellenoord and regularly use each other's expertise and network.
