We are all experienced coaches (40+, college-educated, with leadership and coaching background). As Styx Career Consult we have been active since 2003 and have been able to help hundreds of highly educated people, also called theoretically educated, to change their destiny and take control.
You will get individual coaching with a regular coach in our Eindhoven office or online with Skype or Teams. We also have phone and WhatsApp contact between sessions. We offer customized coaching, which means we know which tool is needed at which moment. As short as it can be, as long as it is needed. Simply put: respect for you and your needs.
We share positive experiences of other clients with you for inspiration and to learn from. And we help you accept what is.

TOOLS & EXPERTISE
We use validated instruments such as DISC, the Belbin team roles, 360-degree feedback, career interest research RIASEC and the STAR method. These instruments are obviously not the truth, but they provide objectification, are a mirror (what is correct and what is not, and why?) and provide direction. We share knowledge about what does work and show you new, refreshing angles.
We teach you proven and effective interview techniques, such as the one-minute story, depth-, counter- and control questions, testing your assumptions AINA (Always Inquire, Never Assume), dealing with difficult questions, the STAR method and conversation balance.

In recent years, graduate students from Fontys Applied Psychology, among others, have been helping us develop new interventions, such as dealing with resistance to networking and coping better with setbacks.
We do continuous expertise enhancement by participating in workshops, conferences and webinars of our branch association Noloc. In addition, we follow all new developments in the field of positive psychology, work happiness, leadership and high sensitivity.

We all have different backgrounds and therefore a broad knowledge of, experience with and network in IT, healthcare, high tech and business services, among others. We all participate in various networks, such as The Society and Bouwloket.
We put our network to work for you to make exploratory calls. In the past 20 years, we estimate that we have gotten to know about 900 organizations; as clients, as network relations and as (new) employers of highly skilled people we have mentored. We have multiple networking contacts in virtually every sector of the job market.
